Dr. Ismail Yaradanguliev - dentist and implantologist

Dear friends, we continue to acquaint you with Russian-speaking specialists practicing in the UAE. Today our guest is the implant dentist Dr. Ismail Yaradanguliev.

So sometimes you want to laugh heartily, as they say, in your mouth, for all 32 teeth, but it wasn’t there ... And all because these same teeth are not the best kind. Agree, when there are problems of this kind, then even the simplest conversation often turns into torment. Not to mention those who work with people for whom a well-groomed appearance and aesthetics play an important role. Who should I contact for help in this case? To good implant dentist.

Dr. Ismail Yaradanguliyev He graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan Medical University in 2001, after which he was immediately invited to the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry, where he combined teaching and medical activities for 9 years. In 2010 Dr. Ismail moved to Dubai and received his first license as a dentist (general practitioner), and somewhat later, as an implantologist. Since 2015 Dr. Ismail also improves his qualifications (Master of Dental Science in Implantology) at Danube University Krems, Austria.

According to tradition, we asked Dr. Ismail share useful information regarding dental implantology, as well as reveal to us one or another professional secret:

"Let's start with the main - which services I offer my patients. These are implantology, prosthetics and complex prosthetics, treatment of teeth, root canals, as well as the solution of aesthetic and functional problems. By the way, the first consultation and x-rays are free. Why exactly to me? Because I guarantee the quality of both the work done and the materials and technologies used. How many times have patients come to me who, after they had their teeth treated at home during the holidays, had fillings or crowns. I wanted cheaper, but it turned out more expensive. And often the matter is not only in materials and craftsmanship, but also in the erroneous diagnosis, as well as in the desire to please the patient: "Doctor, don’t need a crown for me, make a seal bigger and stronger, and that’s fine. - Well, if you don’t want a crown let's try the seal ... " It is not right! I am a doctor with great academic and medical experience, and I know which treatment is best to solve a particular problem, so I never go on about patients. And I can assure you, for all the years of my practice, none of my patients complained about the results of my work, nor about the quality of the materials used.

Another important aspect is prices. It's no secret that a beautiful smile costs a lot, especially in Dubai. And often the prices are unreasonably high. Although if someone offers a complete implant for 2,500 AED, I would be wary too. As I said above, saving on quality can be much more expensive in the future. I use implants both premium (Astra, Straumann and Nobel - the brands that stand at the origins of implantology) and budget ones (the Korean brand Osstem is also a very reliable and well-known brand all over the world). The average and reasonable price for a premium class is about 9,000 - 10,000 AED / tooth, and the budget option is about 5,500 - 6,000 AED. It is very important that the brand of a particular implant used is well known in the market. After all, as you know, the whole process of complete prosthetics lasts about 3 months. And during this time, while the pin takes root, much can happen. Suddenly, the doctor or patient will have to leave, and the work will need to be completed somewhere in another clinic or even in another country, or if the manufacturer closes the production or supplies, it is almost impossible to find a suitable crown for an unfamiliar pin. And taking it out of the bone is fraught with very unpleasant consequences.

Concerning veneers and lumineers, then here, too, is not so simple. Veneers, of course, are an excellent option for the correction of aesthetic defects, such as slight curvature of the teeth, color, shape, crests, etc. To put veneers well and correctly, teeth in most cases need to be grinded in accordance with the thickness of the veneer and taking into account the desired result. In extremely rare cases, you can do with minimal turning or completely without it, everything is very individual and depends on the shape of the teeth and the goal. After that, the veneers are mounted on a very strong glue, which guarantees their fastening for many years. So if you decide on veneers, then you can’t return to your natural teeth. Yes, and you’re unlikely to want to, because at last you can smile at the top of your mouth without embarrassing your teeth.

Lumineers according to their American inventors, grinding enamel does not require. And in my opinion, comparing them with false nails on the basis of “wanted - glued, wanted - removed” is a pure marketing gimmick. As for veneers, the glue used for lumineers is so strong that it’s almost impossible to just take and remove the plates without damaging the tooth enamel. In addition, for better adhesion, the teeth are treated with a special solution that makes them rough. But as for a purely aesthetic result, it is a matter of taste. Veneers give the teeth a more natural look, and lumineers, being a purely American product, are focused on the "Hollywood smile" and create the effect that we call "toilet white". At their core, veneers and lumineers are one and the same, ceramic plates. The difference is only in shape and price. Lumineers are more expensive, since they are produced only in the USA.

I want to say a few words about overall dental health. In the UAE, there is a popular opinion that local water spoils teeth. I can assure you that water has nothing to do with it. This is a matter of pure hygiene only. Teeth should be cleaned at least twice a day for two minutes, and not 30 seconds, as is the case in most cases. In addition, it is necessary to use dental floss daily, and if you take care of your own teeth very professionally, then an irrigator. And accustom to proper hygiene is necessary since childhood. "
