Hotel St Regis Dubai changed its name to Habtoor Palace.
St Regis Dubai Hotel, located in a complex in Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Highway, has been renamed the Habtoor Palace.
A lot of photos with the new hotel signboard appeared on social networks. Users note the absence of a capital “W” in the name W Dubai Habtoor City.
The renaming took place after the largest international hotel operator in the Middle East and Africa, Marriott International, transferred the operational management of Al Habtoor Group.
Al Habtoor representatives said St Regis Dubai, W Dubai Habtoor City and The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor City will be transferred to the owner.
“We maintain strong and friendly relations with Marriott International,” said Mr. Halaf Al Habtur, chairman of Al Habtoor Group.
"This decision marks the beginning of a new era for Habtoor Hospitality, our company is paying more and more attention to developing our own brands and expanding our hotel portfolio."
