UAE will become a hub for alternative medicine

Emirates will actively develop areas of alternative medicine.

Dubai, UAE. The United Arab Emirates plans to become a hub for the promotion of traditional, complementary and alternative methods of treating patients. Such a statement was made at the first international profile conference AYUSH Conference, held in Dubai.

It is, first of all, about such areas of health care as Ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha and homeopathy. Currently, the authorities of the Emirates have already allowed to open special pharmacies that sell drugs based on medicinal herbs. In the near future, the issue of approving the distribution of Siddhi, traditional medicine in South India, will also be considered.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Tolerance, who spoke at the conference, noted that holistic medicine recognizes recklessly the belief that tablets can be cured from a pharmacy, although traditional medical research has actually shown amazing results.
