In Dubai, a gang that previously stole jewelry worth almost $ 3 million was arrested
Dubai police arrested a gang of three Asian citizens who stole gems worth $ 2.9 million.
The stones were stolen near the Al Barsha police station.
Major General Khalil Ibrahim al-Mansouri, the assistant commander in charge of criminal investigations, said the company owner had returned from a trip abroad and had discovered the missing jewelry.
After a thorough search and investigation, the police arrested one suspect who admitted that he had seen in the video surveillance footage as the son of the owner of the company entered a secret number. Using this information, he stole gems and handed them to his partners.
The suspect's accomplices trying to leave the country were caught with the loot.
Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri praised the contribution of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Investigations to the successful resolution of this case.
