Four years after his previous visit to Dubai, Mohamed Munir gives a concert on January 19 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheater. The Egyptian singer and movie star, nicknamed the King's loyal fans, is best known for hits like Alemony Eneeki and Ya Hamam.
His musical career, the starting point of which is the release of his first album in 1977, has been going on for more than three decades. His compositions cannot be summed up under one genre: in the songs of Mohamed, such directions as reggae, blues, jazz and classical Arabic music are intertwined.
