Dubai, UAE. Two days of honoring traditional oriental music called "Legends of Oud" and "In Memory of Umm Kulsum" will be held as part of the Sharjah World Music Festival 2017. Concerts will take place on January 7 and 8 on Flag Island in Sharjah.
The first evening of "Legends of Oud" will bring together the most talented musicians from the Arab world who masterfully own the instrument: Nasir Shamm (Iraq), Hussein Sabsabi (Syria), Khalid Muhammad Ali and others. The second will be dedicated to the memory of one of the most famous Arab singers of the 20th century - Umm Kulsum: Reham Abdul Hakim will perform in her honor, accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra.
