Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah introduced the Le Diwan Lounge, another addition to the hotel’s rich restaurant selection.
Le Diwan, a traditional lounge that refers to Arabian culture and offers mezzes, Arabian juices and hot drinks, is located directly above the hotel's lobby lounge, Peacock Alley.
Le Diwan is a fully air-conditioned and ventilated room overlooking the hotel’s magnificent chandeliers and marble fountain designed by Jill Wilson.
Sports and entertainment are broadcast in the lounge, and free games such as backgammon are provided.
“The idea behind the Le Diwan concept is to diversify the current restaurant offerings available at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khiamah, and connect with the local culture. We will launch monthly various promotions and bring offers in line with the latest trends and wishes of our guests. The inspiration for Le Diwan comes mainly from guest requests, ”said Orsolya Meszaros, director of the restaurant department of Waldorf Ras Al Khaimah.
