An Uzbek pilaf for 10 thousand guests will be cooked at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Festival.
Dubai, UAE. The Republic of Uzbekistan this year for the first time takes part in the traditional festival of cultural heritage Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, which takes place in Abu Dhabi.
On December 27, on Thursday, the famous Uzbek pilaf for 10 thousand people will be cooked at the festival venue. Especially for these purposes, giant boiler plants were delivered to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Pilaf will be ready at 19.00.
In addition to free refreshments, guests of the festival will enjoy an extensive cultural program consisting of Uzbek national dances, poppy and bakhshi songs, instrumental compositions by doirists and dutarists.
The festival will include master classes by national artisans and cooks, as well as an exhibition of Uzbek national costumes. An official presentation of the book-album "Uzbekim" and "Poppy" will take place for visitors and guests of honor.
The annual festival, named after the founder of the country, Sheikh Zayed, started on December 2. A large-scale event serves as a bridge of culture for representatives of different nationalities. Nearly half a million people attended the festival of cultural heritage last year. The park opens at 16.00.
