This year, 250 million flowers have been planted in the Dubai Wonderland this year.
Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Miracle Garden opens today, November 1, the 7th season of work. This year, guests will enjoy floral arrangements in the form of Disney cartoon characters: Mickey and Mini Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and others.
On average, each sculpture weighs about 5 tons; it took 30 thousand flowers to make each of them. The sculpture of Mickey Mouse has a height of 18 meters (previously it was included in the Guinness Book of Records) - this year the character celebrates 90 years from the date of creation.
Among the new products this year are giant sculptures of cats that greet guests at the gates; three funny "watering" elephants; as well as sections "Paradise Lost", "Flower Castle", an amphitheater for live performances and shows and others.
In total, this year 250 million flowers and 50 million plants were planted in the garden, 2 lakes with fountains and 3D sculptures appeared, as well as hammocks for relaxing. The garden is open from 09.00 to 21.00 on weekdays and until 23.00 - on weekends. Ticket price: AED 50 for adults, AED 40 for children aged 3 to 12 years.
