Dubai, UAE. US aerospace agency NASA has published images of Dubai from space, which show the transformation of the emirate and the Arabian desert over the past 34 years.
For three decades, Dubai has become a global metropolis and business hub, and its population has grown from 350 thousand to 3 million people. Particularly noticeable is the transformation of the coastline and coastal zone, which today is decorated with alluvial islands in the form of palm trees, called many new wonders of the world.
