The United Arab Emirates announced which days will be public and private weekend holidays for the New Year.
UAE public sector vacations for the New Year will last four days - two days of a regular weekend on Friday and Saturday, December 29 and 30, as well as Sunday and Monday, December 31 and January 1.
A festive day for the private sector will be January 1.
