A luxury resort opens next to important archaeological sites in the UAE

Near the ancient fossils in the emirate of Sharjah, a luxurious tourist house will be built.

Sharjah Emirate Investment and Development Authority, UAE, (Shurooq) plans to open a luxury resort near the Mleiha Archaeological and Environmental Center, where millions of years old marine animal fossils can be found.

Fossil Rock Lodge, which opens in the first quarter of 2018, will be the place to stop fearless explorers who want to spend time in the natural and historical setting of the UAE.

The house will have five bedrooms with an office for visitors, a restaurant, dining rooms and reception rooms, a library, an open terrace, a fireplace and another open roof terrace.

There is also a cafe with a capacity of 42 people and a spa area of ​​430 square meters. m with an outdoor pool with sea water.

Near the resort, besides Mleiha, there are attractions such as the Fossil Rock and Camel Rock reserves.

Fossil Rock Lodge will be part of the first phase of the Mleiha project. The second phase involves the construction of the Mleiha National Park in cooperation with the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority, which will serve as a wildlife sanctuary. It will house a variety of animals, including oryx, gazelles, and mountain deer.
