More than one and a half thousand people gathered at the presentation of the new IWC watch collection, called Da Vinci.
The Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen, known for its classic lines of watches produced for more than 140 years, introduced the new Da Vinci collection. Da Vinci watches have unique mechanisms, their form is a classic “barrel”, their appearance is an unrivaled classic.
The ceremony was attended by Oscar-winning person Cate Blanchett, actors Jean Reno, Matthew Modin, tennis legend Boris Becker, singer Ronan Keating, football superstar Zinadine Zidane and IWC CEO George Kern. A specially invited star to represent the Middle East region was the popular Egyptian actor and heartthrob Hani Salama, to whom IWC’s CEO presented the IWC Pilot watch. Particular attention during the ceremony was given to the brilliant IWC watchmaker Kurt Klaus, whose revolutionary “eternal” movement was the first version of the movement that is now installed on the Da Vinci lineup.
The quintessential evening was the appearance of film actor Kevin Spacey, twice awarded the Oscar.
