The "ambassadors" of the famous TAG Heuer watch brand - Tiger Woods and Lewis Hamilton - are not just world champions in their sports. They are the winners of the 21st century. TAG Heuer decided to demonstrate their eternal pursuit of excellence in a new documentary and special photo exhibition, called the “Knights of the New Age”.
There are people who cannot stand still. Moving, changing, developing, accelerating and adapting - these are the verbs that fuel their infinite striving forward, fill them with energy for the emergence of completely new concepts and constant self-improvement. Ambition is the accelerator that drives such people who want to constantly change, neglect their usual limitations and exceed expectations. Nothing can cause them to stop - victory or defeat, success or loss, moments of weakness or moments of strength - all these are life lessons, necessary sources of new knowledge and experience. For such people, there is no finish line, they only recognize the start line, and the middle of the path is what they left far behind. These people are the knights of the new time.
TAG Heuer proudly presents its “knights” in the documentary and talks about their extraordinary achievements. In addition to the obvious coincidences in the success stories of both athletes: the talent and strength that drive them to the heights of excellence and the peak of sports careers, the film also shows the numerous obstacles that Tiger Woods and Lewis Hamilton overcome on the path to world success and recognition. The film focuses on the amazing abilities of both to strive to be the best. Each of them, speaking in a single sport, throughout his career competes, in fact, with himself. At the exhibition, which will begin its work immediately after the release of the film, various milestones will be presented, marking ups and downs, life challenges and difficulties, which ultimately led to the formation of the character of the real winners.
The life values of Tiger Woods and Lewis Hamilton are largely the same. Continuous movement for them is more than just value; it is a lifestyle. And, despite the fact that both of them are the leading athletes of the world in their disciplines, none of them wants to rest on their laurels, on the contrary, they tirelessly conquer more and more peaks, go to new victories.
The ambitious documentary project for TAG Heuer watchmaking allowed Tiger Woods and Lewis Hamilton to communicate with each other in person, although some of the presented photographs of Tiger Woods were taken in his hotel room in New York, and Lewis in the McLeran Technology Center in Woking (England). At a personal meeting, Tiger presented Lewis with a golfer’s flag with an autograph “for good luck”, and Lewis, in turn, after winning the Formula 1 World Championship racing, handed Tiger his “happy” jumpsuit. In this racing suit, Lewis won the China Gran Prix, so he made a commemorative inscription on it for Tiger: "From one World Champion to another. Your friend Lewis Hamilton."

Tiger Woods recently renewed his multi-year contract with TAG Heuer for another four years. Lewis Hamilton When I race, I always feel fear. When he is strong, I can lose, and when he is weak, I can lose, or even worse. I don’t think that playing golf puts you under the same pressure. what do you think about it?
Tiger Woods: Like the Formula 1 pilots, I’m alone with myself during the competition. I have to focus on every detail, forget about everything else and play better than anyone. But, unlike you, I know that a mistake will not cost me my life. I think that the pressure that I am experiencing is both mental and physical, but I myself am the person who makes me experience it. Every club hit is decisive for me.
LG: As a pilot of Formula 1, I’ll say that the limit you can never cross is zero errors. Even a hint of error is not allowed. And at the same time, you have to be the best every time, improve yourself and set the pace for others. Tiger, how do you still find the strength for self-improvement when you are already the best golfer in the world?
TV: I never rested on my laurels, and never stopped improving my skills. There are still records that I want to beat. Do you think the finish line is the beginning or the end?
LG: The finish line for me is just the beginning of the next race. Even having won this year’s championship, I realized that this is, in fact, the beginning of the next season - of course, with additional excitement from the already won victory and the desire to become a winner again. This is what makes me move forward, especially considering that I am only at the beginning of my career. I believe that when it comes my time to leave the Formula 1 racing tracks, I will look for other challenges in my life, because I want to be the first in these competitions. I have one feature that I would not want to lose over time, is the desire to be the best in everything that I do. Tiger, how do you feel about your time?
TV: Time is a measure of the pace of my life, but so far I remain the leader of this race. Time is my freedom. And every moment of time I have counted, especially now, when I became a father. Every second I spend with my child is a real luxury that gives me so much that I want to fully enjoy it.
This is exactly what TAG Heuer admires me: they managed to count every moment of time - from one tenth, hundredth and thousandth to even one ten thousandth of a second, and still try to do something more, whether it’s a watch or an entire watch systems. From this point of view, we share one philosophy and one passion. For us, the word "best" is not an adjective, it is a verb. That is why I renewed my contract with TAG Heuer. I feel like we are moving at the same pace and have a single vision. What does time mean to you?
LG: I'm still too young, and the time for me is like a loan in my account, which makes me do more, train more, constantly improve and review myself. I see some people always running somewhere, but they don’t have enough time to step back and challenge themselves. I do this all the time. Sometimes I just sit and you might think that I am not doing anything, but I analyze the critical situations that await me ahead, and what I must do to overcome them. When I look at my mistakes, I imagine what I have to do to correct them. This is the time when I am working on my personal strategy. That is why I am proud to be the “ambassador” of the TAG Heuer brand. This watch brand is not a one-day brand. It has a rich history of discovery and innovation dating back to 1860. To achieve this and stay on top of technological ideas and innovations, TAG Heuer also had to step back more than once in order to be able to constantly review its activities and rediscover itself.
