The Museum of the Future of Dubai and the Shenzhen Foundation have concluded a memorandum of understanding on the international exchange of personnel and ideas.
The Museum of the Future in Dubai and the Shenzhen Chinese Foundation have become strategic partners in innovation in robotics, the Internet of things, and other areas. By signing a memorandum of understanding, both parties committed themselves to exchange ideas and cadres. Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to hold hackathons, consider investment proposals, and create a unified system for startups of two cities.
Saif al Alieli, Director General of The Dubai Museum of the Future Foundation, said that the Museum of the Future seeks to support innovation and entrepreneurship by creating partnerships with technologically advanced companies and cities, especially those that are actively involved in sectors with strategic value for the UAE.
“We look forward to attracting new innovative startups and technological experiments. Almost every innovative product on the market is manufactured or designed in Shenzhen. This partnership gives us direct access to the most creative ideas in the field of hardware on the planet, ”he added.
China's leading technology companies, including DJI Robotics, a manufacturer of commercially successful drones, are currently based in Shenzhen; Baidu, a search giant and pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence; BGI, conducting large-scale genetic research.
