The Sharjah Intercity Transport Committee launched a new bus route from August 22 this year, which passes through such cities of the emirate as Al Dhaid, Al Maleha and Al Madaam.

"The new bus route No. 120 provides transport links between the three cities of the emirate and is one of the recent innovations, along with replenishment of the taxi fleet. All this is done in order to encourage the emirate to use public transport more often," said Adel Khalil Al Khosani, director of intercity Sharjah transport links.

According to Al Hosani, a few more new bus routes will soon be launched in the emirate, thanks to which passengers will be able to travel from the eastern region of the country to Sharjah and back with a stop in the city of Al Dhaid.
