The number of passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport increased in July by 13.3%

In July, Abu Dhabi International Airport served 1.2 million passengers, an increase of 13.3% compared with July 2010 passenger traffic data.

The number of airport air operations during the second half of summer increased by 3.1%. According to Abu Dhabi Airports, this is due to an increase in the number of passengers leaving the UAE during Ramadan. In addition, the July-August figures are due to the emergence of new airlines operating at the airport and an increase in the frequency of flights.

The five most popular destinations chosen by passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport in July were London, Doha, Bangkok, Jeddah and Manila, which together accounted for about 20% of the airport’s passenger traffic.
